EVERYDAY EXPORTS YOUTH HEADED TO PUERTO VALLARTA THIS SUMMER!

WHEN: Saturday, Aug 1 through Saturday, Aug 8, 2009

WHERE:  Vineyard Church in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, MX with missionaries Ric & Joy Lehman.

WHAT:   Generally, we hand out water at the dump, pass out popsicles /toys in the poorer areas, and pour concrete floors for people that just have dirt floors.  We plan to also do some construction (building a modular home for example).  We may take out a mobile kitchen and cook hamburgers or hotdogs out in a colonia. We will also use all team members on Sunday mornings to assist in worship. We will likely go to the orphanage and the nursing home and we will be having an after school kids camp (like vacation Bible school) a couple of days this week. If any of the team members speak Spanish, we will use them for translation. We will be partnering with Matt Worley and his youth from Overland Park Vineyard in Kansas City like we did last year. For slideshows, details about special ministries, etc. please go to www.worshipinparadise.org to find out more about Ric & Joy's ministry in PV.

HOW:    We will fly. We will take buses/ vans to the church and to the worksites.

COST:   The cost is $999. We have reserved 20 seats on Continental. We will need to have the money in for airfare by May 15. The payment due date schedule is as follows:

        Application + $250.00 due May 1, 2009

             $200.00 due May 15, 2009

             $200.00 due June 1, 2009

             $200.00 due June 15, 2009

             $149.00 due July 1, 2009

*We must have the total for airfare by May 15, 2009 since the seats are reserved. The above is all tax deductible if made out to the church (Vineyard) and placed in an envelope marked Everyday Exports Attn: Suzanne Barslund 1201 Riverside Ave. Fort Collins, Colo. 80524 with 0809PV in the memo line. It is important that payments be made by check and not cash. It is also important that the above be included in any support letters you send out so that you receive proper credit.

**We have Qdoba coupons available to sell for $10 each. We also plan to have a bake sale this summer which may offset some of the cost. You are encouraged to send out support letters as soon as possible. We have some samples if you would like to see them.

WHY:    We want to partner with the Vineyard Church in Puerto Vallarta and make a difference for the Kingdom by reaching out to the poor and the under-resourced in this region.

Questions: Call or e-mail Suzanne Barslund, Everyday Exports Manager, at 970-391-9039 or suzanneb@vineyardotr.org.
