Taboo topic: Poverty
Here Mark Stiger is talking about Poverty with a student, Ben. Poverty is a real and close thing, even in Ft. Collins. We have to be aware of it all the time. As Christ followers we need to do something about it, because Jesus loves them as much as you!

taboo: drugs
Mark interviews Deanna about her life on drugs and how she got away from it.
So this video ends kinda abruptly, but I want to say that what she was saying at the end may feel like some things that we may feel. I want to tell you that Jesus does love you, in the Bible, in one of my favorite verses it says,
9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son[b] into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins
1 John 4:9-10
We may feel "how could God love me" but I want to say that he does and also nothing that we can do will take that love away, in Romans 8 it says
38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[m] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God does love you and all we have to do is accept that love from our Father.

Well I have to say that I have been a little slow on formating the videos to put up on the blog. We will have all the latest taboo series videos up soon.
